LED Neon Is a Specialised, Handmade Product
LED neon is a craft-based product.
Every Kings of Neon sign is handmade — shaped, assembled and wired by skilled technicians who work with silicone neon every day. This is precision fabrication requiring trained hands and technical understanding. It is not automated plastic moulding or generic retail production.
Over the past two decades, that craft has become concentrated in China.
This is where the modern LED neon industry was built. It’s where component supply chains matured, specialist tooling evolved, and fabricators refined the skill of shaping flexible silicone neon by hand at scale.
Today, it remains the global hub for high-quality LED neon manufacturing.
Materials Matter: Silicone, Not PVC
Not all LED neon is created equal.
Some lower-grade signage uses PVC tubing — a common shortcut in budget products. Over time, PVC can crack, yellow or discolour.
We use pure silicone neon.
Silicone offers superior flexibility, durability and finish quality. It resists yellowing, performs consistently across temperature variations, and maintains a cleaner, more premium appearance long-term.
Material choice is one of the first decisions that determines whether a sign performs reliably for years.
Manufacturing Location vs Manufacturing Standards
Where something is made does not automatically determine its quality.
How it is designed, specified, tested and controlled does.
Manufacturing location alone does not define a product. Standards do.
We manufacture in China because that’s where the expertise, materials and fabrication ecosystem exist. But we control how our signs are made — from design approval through to final quality checks.

We’ve toured facilities that looked impressive on paper but didn’t meet expectations in practice.
That’s why we visit our manufacturing partners in person.
We inspect production lines, assess fabrication processes, review component sourcing and evaluate real working conditions. If standards aren’t aligned, we walk away.
This due diligence is part of our responsibility.
